Two testosterone studies, different timelines: would you compare them?
#1
Suppose a TEST E300 discussion links two testosterone papers, but one follows participants for a few weeks and the other for much longer. Both references are available. Before looking at which result sounds more impressive, there's the question of whether they're describing the same stretch of time.

When you read a comparison like that, do you check the follow-up period first? What would make you decide the results belong side by side, rather than answering different questions?

You don't need a verdict on either paper to notice that mismatch. Leaving a comparison unresolved seems more honest than picking a winner before working out what each study measured and when.
